After creating a few book covers for their YA department, Harper Collins in NYC asked if I w like to pitch a picture book, which was a bit of a dream come true.
I created the beginnings of a series based around a little girl called Bitsy and her cat, Birdy, and the strange and whimsical world that they inhabit. Unfortunately the gate keepers in the sales and marketing department did not share our vision and the whole thing got canned. However it's still one of my favourite projects and maybe it'll find a home one day.
